Question
"Some 3 PSAs have registered and I am a bit mixed up on how to go about it..."
Answer
It is wonderful to have your first (Personally Sponsored Affiliate) PSA join your team. The thing that one wonders is, okay, you’re here, now what do I do with you?
Here are quick tips to help you navigate this little mental obstacle, and I will start with a bit of data. Generally, affiliates or people joining your team will only commit to working with you if you connect with them within the first twenty four hours of their signing up.
SFI deals with that snag for you by putting up a generic email letter that welcomes your affiliate as soon as they sign up. Your sign-ups will quickly identify these as automated system emails because they will thereafter continue to receive the daily Launch Pad emails.
There are two things that you can do immediately to enhance your relationship with your sign-ups.
1. Use sign-up to Personalize your Welcome email
If your intention is to build a business, your sign-ups need to know you personally. They do not want to relate to a machine, they want to relate to a person. Therefore, take this first sign-up to do something important for your business – personalize your welcome email.
The welcome email sent out by SFI is generic and it carries a basic welcome to the program. If you look through your emails from SFI, you will notice they are two welcome emails, written as though they are from your Sponsor.
Rather than agonize with setting up an auto-emailing system, take advantage of the SFI emailing system to send your sign-ups a message that says exactly what you want to say to them. The SFI system allows you to edit one of the two emails sent out.
How do you edit the welcome message? Whenever someone joins SFI as your downline, the system will send you the information directly to your email. On this email you will find content as shown in the screenshot below.
If you click on that first link (make sure you are signed in to SFI) you will go to the specific page of the new affiliate that will have other details important to you as the Sponsor.
If you scroll down on that page, you will find a section that looks like the screen shot below:
This is the generic email sent out to your affiliates immediately they join SFI. If you edit this email, then you control what you say to your affiliates when they join SFI. Once you are through with editing it, send it to the current sign-up too.
2. Open up Lines of Communication Just as with that first email, your affiliates will soon discover that even that personal email was automated. You want to get in touch with them personally through another email, chat, or using any other method that assured them there is a person behind the business.
I have found that connecting with people within the week that they join generates more positive affiliates than when I wait longer.
Decide how to manage your communication schedule Depending on how you wish to build your business, you can choose to make your communication lines open through email, by phone (if affiliates are in your country), or any other communication method. I personally find email convenient because I can communicate with my affiliates even when they are on a different time-line from mine.
When I need to pass on more detailed information, I use skype as my preferred method of voice communication. The key is this, if the people the other end are assured you are real, they are more likely to engage with you more.
To your success!
